ommision light

 :question my ommision light on my omega has come on just after i bought the car. i had it turned off by a garage but it has come on again.can anyone tell me why?

This is a prob with the 2.6 and 3.2 as they have 2 pre cats and also 2 pre cat o2 sensors.

It is these that are setting off the light . If you have an emisions test you will find that you are Fine so don,t think the cats are on there way out.

I and other members have had the same thing and the best way around it is to move the 2nd set of 02 sensors behind the main cats.This will give the gass an a 2nd clean before the  02,s pick up the reading. did this with mine and has been fine since.

i have noticed the sensors you are talking about but i dont quite understand exactly what you mean so could you explain again  :-/

I agree with SP_3.2. I regularly get the light on, but after a good long (~100+ miles) it goes out. It has done this since I bought it but has always passed its MOT test without any problems.
