Can ROSPA point you to anyone giving a discount for your advanced driving AA?

Possibly, but I haven't taken my test yet.

Both my Omega and SWMBO's Corsa are insured with Vauxhall Insurance. Very reasonable quotes. Currently 10% off online + chance to win a Tom Tom.

Genuine GM parts thus guaranteed!

Have you tried going back to RAC and telling em you've got a better quote......can they beat it.
I did this at renewal time 2 months ago......not with RAC tho.....quite suprising how much got knocked off for playing 'ping pong' with 2 companies  :y
Stayed with orig company in the end....after they reduced the premium by over £100  :y

Oddly enough, even at the age of 18, they rated Pass Plus as a discount-earner... and a Rospa Silver as making no difference whatsoever... just in my experience.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Vauxhall one is Vauxhall in name only. It'll be underwritten by one of the major insurers and just rebranded. Probably means that come repair time it'll be off to the usual "approved repairer" with the usual standard of work and parts supply.

I view insurance as a pure commodity these days. There are only gimmicks to choose between the companies and who knows what any of them are actually like until you make a claim? Go for the cheapest, I say.
