brake sensor

is there any way to turn the brake sensor off as i had the wheels off and the calipers then realised that they were the wrong ones without the sensor. so i had no choice to put them in but now there in i dont see the point in taking them off again and paying for a new set as they work. the only problem is the warning saying brake pad keeps coming up is there a way to turn it off?

Only way I found was to unplug the sensor and bridge the plug with a short length of wire :y

be careful doing it that way, wire can rust into the connector, making the fix permanent.

The best way is to leave the old sensor attached, just cut and join those wires.  much 'safer'

Good point well made, but unfortunately I didn't have a sensor at all ::)

I'll find you a piece of stainless welding/filler rod, you can make your own non rusting version!  ;D  ;D  :y
