stupid question?(camcover o-rings)
« on: 18 March 2009, 13:42:48 »

The 16 little o-rings that seal the holes where the bolts go,presumably they go between the underside of the bolt and the camcover? there was no sign of any of these when I took the covers off,so Im a bit unsure! ::)

Yes.

Double check, as after time they go hard, and look like they are part of the camcover - they is a obvious indentation for them, if thats not there, use a small screwdriver to hook the old ones out

If they are the size of your replacement o rings, thats them.  Come out looking like plastic washers...

want to spend as much time as it takes to clean the breathers properly while re-assembling as well.
There was so much oil in the plug wells,I reckon an American invasion of north Essex was imminent ::) ;D
