Horn Open Circuit
« on: 25 March 2009, 15:04:28 »

Whilst playing with Pc based diagnostics and looking in the alarm section it showed a fault saying  " 125 Horn Circuit Open " ... as far as i am aware it works fine .
Any ideas ?

Was this against the alarm/central locking ECU?

Disconnect the battery.

Really.

It is there simply to sound if a thief disconnects the battery to stop the "normal" horn going.

If you wish to disconnect the battery WITHOUT the alarm sounder going offf, you must do so within 20 seconds of turning the ignition off.
