Car mats
« on: 19 November 2007, 12:13:15 »

Just got my genuine alfa romeo car mats through the post. £49.99. I thought 'they're nice' and laid them out on the floor.
Then I had a thought. There's less than a square metre there, £49.99 a Sq Metre, they should be bloody nice! :(

I hate the price of car mats, my dad paid similar for a set for a Honda Jazz!
(and they are tiny)

Clucking bell.....and you just know the electrics will fail on them just after the 12 month warranty period  ::)

Makes Gm mats look very cheap.

Might help reduce the centre of gravity of it.....it needs all the help it can get on the handling stakes.

You can place your M&S slippers on them and your freshly cleaned pipe....

If you are a "car user", they're probably the best car to fit the need - peanuts to run, go forever with only basic servicing, easy to park... and build quality far higher than the French trio...

If I needed a cheap runaround, I'd get something like an old old Micra, like my first one - '89, 1.0L, but stuck like the proverbial to a blanket. Great fun round an empty multistorey driven safely and carefully on the public highway. I'd be tempted to put a sports exhaust, air filter on it too, just to make it even louder... or drill holes in the existing ones...
