Ok glow plugs and oil change, Im not sure Im ready for all that but going to give it a go and ready to get dirty! Ref engine how do I know what it is. Ive been out there in the dark and my two engines are so different. Petrol one spotless clean and the diesel is filthy. I dnt think Ive mentioned it has an oil leek. Guess that should be sorted before the oil change! Syd the diesel ( thats its number plate ) and Pete the petrol ( it was getting a complex as it didnt have a name ) Both need a bit of work, ok alot of work. I work for myself so have the time to but they are large beasts to be playing with compared to my little astra I tinkered with.
Should I make sure there is nothing major with both of them before I start with the oil etc.
Or I could list all problems and get an idea from you guys what is the future for my 2 sheds?
Another Welsh example - there's nice! :D

Theres no leeks in there more like a sack of potatoes  ;D After looking at Syd again this morning I think I need to clean the engine up a bit first. Dont want to get my hands dirty   ;) I hope that will make it easier to find the LEAK Next question whats the best thing to clean the engine? Or do I need a man  :-[

I use traffic film remover and a pressure washer for engine cleaning, pop a plastic bag over the alternator, power steering pump and aircon compressor first to protect the bearings etc.
