well have you cleaned your sensors ?

this would be a good place to start as th road dirt can affect the sensor and cause the system to so a fault. the back ones are really easy to clean on an estate and the fronts can be a pain in the but to remove.

i took mine out and cleaned them i also jet washed the underside of the car as the area where the sensors fit was also very dirty.

start with this and if you get no joy we can look at the next thing. your welcome to pm me. :)

Because if the bulbs have gone then the ABS unit can throw a wobbly as the bulb filaments work as the pull down to 0V.

paperclip test only looks at engine, not abs.

What year is the car?

Is your car 1998 - ?
Does the speedo still work while abs light on.  Is TC light on as well?

First action as above - check/clean abs sensors.

And satnav generaly under reads due to the methods used to calculate the speed from the GPS position

I am new to this Omega lark, my last Vauxhall was a 1985 2.5i Senator A but now my gorgeous 2000 MV6 Estate has what seems to be this issue, the Speedo does not work and the ABS and TC lights are on, to cap it the engine management light came on yesterday! All the fluids are okay and the car drives, starts and stops fine! Any ideas?

Just a though but I had a simular issue on a Vectra B.

Turned out it wasnt the ABS sensors but the actual ABS ring on the front driveshaft.

Its a ring thats pressed onto the shaft ( bit like a ring gear on a flywheel ) and it had split so no longer fixed to the shaft. Its confused the hell out of the ABS system and threw  up all sorts of issues.

Might be worth giving the rings a clean and see if they are loose on the shaft.

Just my 2p  ;D
