im just wondering whats the top speed of miggy's, i was just reading the tyres topic about v and w ratings and something about v for a top speed of 150mph

apparantely my miggy hit 125 before people get in the way, so ive heard

2.5 very similar to 2.6 and 3.0 very similar to 3.2 in performance terms.

2.5 V6  = 135 mph

3.0 V6  = 150 mph

Tried, tested and proved without foot right to floor and unnecessary strain on engine, being held for 20 miles apiece!! 8-) 8-) 8-)

EDIT:  for comparison as a matter of interest, the new 4x4 2.8 V6 24v Insignia gave me 135 mph without any effort, so top speed no doubt exceeds 150 mph.

Obviously all speeds recorded are subject to speedo error.

when driving on a racetrack, i got 149 in the auto and 147 in the manual

both 98 3.0 mv6 estates

the manual running much better now, so expect it would beat that, better timed, new HT Setup

Yes, they do show slightly different top speeds between manuals and autos, and they always have right across all engine ranges, with all models.   I have found autos still produce the top end of the published figure.

EDIT: Just realised that you state "times";  did you mean in acceleration 0-60?  If so, yes the manual will be quicker.

i dont want to say too much about this but a 3.0 Manual MV6 will deffinatly do 155mph (SPEEDO Readout!!!) and its quite suprising how quick from 70 mph it will get to 155!

when ive been pulled over in the mv6 before the filth told me that a 3.2 mig will hit 160mph eventually
