Just been to look at an omega estate for a forum member along with Pat (Wakeyomega). It was parked up in an indoor garage. Parked next to it is a nice shiny 54 reg peugot, with a fat lad in it, knob twiddling. The door of the peugot is touching the side of the omega so I says pointedly to Pat "This is it, the one with the dent in it" Fat lad smiles and pulls the door closed.
So, we're having a look round when tubby nonchelantly leans through the window of the peugot and turns the key. Car is in gear and off it goes towards the far wall, fatty hanging on to the door trying to stop it. CRUNCH! it stopped when it hit the wall. I looks at Pat and his back is turned but shoulders are moving up and down so I guess he's p*ssing hisself. I am too.
So, we just looked at each other, straightened our faces and carried on looking at the omega.

if he hadnt been twiddling his knob he might have been able to concentrate on taking it out of gear!!

 Wish I'd been there. How on earth would you compose yourself after doing that?

 (Actually, my former boss once did a service on a car, and dind't pump the brake pedal back up after replacing the pads and discs. Forgot about it, then at the end of the night pulled round, hit the brakes to no effect, and drove into the doors of the garage...)
