Just noticed you drive an Alfa 166 3.0 V6 nice looking motors  ;) It was on my list of options for a new motor along with an S Type Jag. I was looking at the Super Lusso model on the Alfa and the 3 litre manual "sport" model on the Jag.

Ended up with another Omega MV6  ;D It's in the blood..

Hi Angie. I've got the 3.0 super lusso, red leather, pearlescent blue paint, it's beautiful. But the heathens on here are so jealous, they wont admit it's a cool car ;D

Sorry  :-[ I forgot this was an Alfa forum :-X Silly me, I've got one of the Omega thingys - but you've probably not heard of them [smiley=evil.gif]

Well, the amount of posting you do these days, it's a good job there's an alfa owner to keep the forum moving along. :P

I've just come home from spending the day in meetings......this morning a Counter Terrorism one with Chief Constable and MI5 representatives......and then just got back from Preston for a Performance Review that finished at 7pm :o

Better day yesterday - started at 10.30 and left at 1pm to have a meeting in Lancaster - for a new job ;D don't tell the boss - I didn't  ;)

And just tell the Missus that your wishbones are shagged, causing undue and unseen tyre wear and it's cheaper to buy 4 wheels than new tyres - there, sorted :y

Sorry Mark. Only joking. :-X

My first thought too.... so many otherwise nice cars spoiled by penny pinching :(

Other than BMW and Merc, are there any "normal" cars that are RWD now - i.e. not sports cars like the Elise, Porsche, etc. The Monaro kind of borders on normal, although the new one is hideous.

You would if you saw it in the flesh. Those pics are the ones off ebay and make the red look very loud. It is, in fact, much more subtle than that.
