Hi everybody, after I had problems with the regulator of the dynamo, I had to replace several bulbs in the instrument panel, burned out, due to over voltage. (this might, or might not, have anything to do with this problem.)
Another thing I notice is that if I switch to petrol my engine light comes on and the paperclip gives me the codes: 0201-0202-0203-0204 than 0340 the last one i understand, the others say something about the injector valves being high, lo, or open circuit.
apart from the fact thatI really dont know where to look, how can I check which of the three it is and how to check it.
funny thing, the car drives like a dream and even the engine light switches sometimes off as it should.yesterday for instance, in the morning it was on all the time (in petrol mode) and would only switch off when I switched back to LPG.
A short time later however,it would switch on only momentairely at changeover -petrol/LPG- or back, and stay off, which is as it should.
Today again, in petrol mode it's on all the time, but the car drives smoothly.
The car is a 1998 Opel Omega , motor x20xev and has a Koltec Egi installed.
Can anybody enlighten me, I would be ever so gratefull !!
