doesnt sound bad.

I (and many others) have windscreen cover via insurance, and the excess for that is £60-70 so doesnt sound a bad deal at all  :y

Doesn't sound a bad price. I had a screen replaced on my '96 elite and they had a hell of a job getting the outer trim/rubber seal to fit properly afterwards, so make sure its all to your satisfaction when completed.

there is the school of though that they dont know your windscreen is broken....so insure it, leave it a week or 2, then claim  :y
