i got a HBV from Vauxhall, cost me £46.75, ouch!
mechanic is fitting it for me sometime this week or next
i haven't had any coolant loss recently, so when the new one is fitted, what differences will i notice straight away? i think i heard it can affect "torque" - and obviously i will get heat as well
i did ask Vauxhall for the "vac solenoid" but they had no idea what i was talking about, lol

forgot to say, when you first start your Omega, if i just sit on the drive, it doesnt idle smoothly, there seems to be ever so slight fluctuation as the revs go up and down, not a lot, just a tiny bit, is that normal?
saying that, even after a fairly long run, the revs do the same thing
got me oil an filter from Vauxhall now, so just got to do that and i`m good to go, service overdue!
also got a bloke in Cowley, used to work for BMW who is going to do the 4 rust spots on my car, i have seen his work and its truly wicked! you wouldnt even know there had been any rust
