Auto gearbox on 3.2
« on: 27 June 2009, 12:45:30 »

Clarification please - I did pedal test and got 1 flash followed by 7 then 10 then 10 which is Service Required for Auto Transmission as per OOF Maintenance Guide.

Is the gearbox fluid supposed to be changed regularly and at what intervals - 1 - official 2 - recommended.

Took the Signum in today for new rear discs and pads and Trade Club card worked well - got pad and disc set for £60 - thanks to this site for the heads up on the card - first time I have used it even if on wrong vehicle!!

Always worth changing the atf, but you need to get gearbox ecu codes read

Thanks - my idea was that if it is a scheduled tf change I would have it done rather than just check level and have codes read.

I will have it changed anyway I think as it is at 84000 miles.
