Sent you Martin's link

quick look on the bay shows he is not alone!

2-3 people offering repairs now, he seems to be the cheapest though.

And I was looking at a small price increase :(

I may be setting up an Ebay shop to do this

Please don't read this as me trying to take business away from anyone, but you can refurb them yourself, and they are suprisingly easy to do.

As I say, I'm not trying to take sales from anyone. If someone asked me to to it for them, I'd direct them to these guys on ebay instead. They know what theyre doing more than I!

The only reason I mention it is I found a broke one in a scrap yard, got it working again, sold it for fifteen quid, i think! And I was going to bin it!  :y

he does more than just solder the battery connector back on..

you get new switches as well, the facelift ones just dont last, then people press them far too hard, which knackers the rubber.

buying the switches individually can be a bit pricey with delivery etc, so not a bad deal  :y  Not that i've had to use him myself.

I agree Jimbob, Martin FULLY refurbishes them with all new switches, repairs any circuit damage and fits a new battery!

I inherited a right messed up one when I purchased my latest miggy, and Martin still managed to completely refub and give me a vital working fob! 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) :D :D ;)

both the fobs i received with the car are abused and knackered. So this will be worthwhile getting both done.the rubbers on both are well worn but i understand new ones are not available so will put up with what ive got.

Postage is quite scarey - so I buy 60 at a go
