Ok. On saturday i took the car to a hifi installer to install a stereo for me. All  went well, but they had such a hard time removing the  CDR 5000 and they had to  dismantle the whole climate panel and  put it back.
could they have plugged something in the wrong place..hence causing the problem...

I drove the car yesterday from work and AC has been working superb. I really don't know what happened yesterday morning as it was blowing warm air.
Today morning it was still in top form.

One thing could be that if it was very warm and Sunny then the sun sensor would have been giving reading to make it run colder quicker to cool the inside of the car down. I find this to happen on mine.

You were absolutely spot on. The same issue has cropped up again. Anything above 17 degree and the A/C blows warm air. Very irritating in this weather. So basically if i want A/C cool air for now i have only keep the temprature at 16 degrees or below.
I spoke to the guys at Wheels in motion and they have asked me to take the car back for them to have a look. Could be some leak somewhere they said.
Fingers crossed. Really not keen to visit my local dealer..They always seem to get the diagonistics wrong and i always pay for incompetence!!

Sounds to me like one of the blending flaps is stuck / disconnected. Over a certain temperature the climate panel will open the heater valve to allow coolant into the matrix and use the blending flap to control temperature. If the flap is stuck on "hot", it will result in a sudden increase in temperature.

Where are these blending flaps ? Could the regassing guy have done this accidentally ?

no, a regasser just connects to valves in the engine

Replacing a stereo is much more likely.

ok thanks. The radio installer had such a hard time removing the stereo that they took the whole climate control panel off. He must have re-connected it wrongly. I need a mechanics who knows miggys. Can anyone recommend a mechanic?

other thing you can play with is covering the dome in the centre of the dash by the screen, see if that affects the fan speeds
what does that dome do? I've been wondering since I've had the car what it's for
