brake problems and strange noises
« on: 23 July 2009, 21:12:07 »

hi all bit of help required. have noticed a noise from the rear of car sounds like brakes binding, the noise is there even when braking ??? just jacked it up and had a quick look. both front disks are blue and warped.
jacked up the rear and both wheels are quite hard to spin ( not sure if this is because it's auto) discs look fine.

also have a whinning noise from the rear. there doesnt seem to be any play in the rear wheel bearings, could it be the diff.
any help/ideas greatly appreciated. really need my car for work.
TIA

if the whining goes round corners, likely bearings, if not, likely diff, which may just want a top up  :y

sounds like new disks, pads, fluid and a bloody good clean for the front.
