Dis pack on v6

Hi i need to know where the corresponding ht leads connect to on the dis pack.

5 3 1
2 6 4
front of car

is this correct or can anyone give a more detailed description. cheers

I think it goes 2 6 4 on the bottom but there's a guide somewhere that says for sure. Also it should be marked on the dis pack.

To do: Replace brake discs and pads; adjust already replaced shoes; check for leaks in oil cooler, cambelt area, crank seals, sump, dipstick; replace osf door; replace a tyre; clean, MOT.

If you look on the rocker cover, it'll tell you the order, just correspond the cylinders to the numbers on the pack.

You assume the DIS is off the car. I expect Samrey4u has till got his DIS fitted & wants to avoid removing it!  ;)  ;)  ;)

Having just pulled mine out I can tell you.

Assuming it is mounted horizontally you are correct samrey4u with you original post.

All sorted now many thanks for your replies , and yes dis was still on the car  :y trouble i had ,was the plonker who had car before me , decided to replace number 6 plug lead with one that said 4 , hence i had 2 x number 4 leads lol. pulled all plugs of dispack and got mixed up when replaced with new leads but its all running now  :y
