M.O.T Failed
« on: 28 August 2009, 13:06:06 »

Failed on emissions... On LPG of all things...
CO was 7.222
LPG ppm vol was 1482
against a max of 3.5 and 1200 respectively.
How on earth can that have happened?
Only thing is battery has been off while i changed the alternator, would that have affected the LPG ECU??

Is that the first lambda sensor (the one just off the downpipe) and is there anything i can do with it, maybe clean it....?
If i have to replace it, does it have to be a GM one or are the aftermarket ones compatible?

Thanks in advance as always o learned ones  ;)

P.S. just fitted a new exhaust (cat back) that i got from smegmatt1 so its not blowing anymore
