I've got Goodyear eagles on mine and they are absolutly fantastic. They've never once let go, unless its on purpose ::)
and I've done 125/130 ish (as if I was paying attention to the speedo at that speed) in the damp, just perfect.

Need replacing soon at a cost of 90 yoyos each :)

My mother has bridgestones on her nissan and they're completely cr@p, around 60/70 the car starts to "float" around :o

Personal experience sudgests they are only well suited to smaller lighter cars

Hi my tuppence worth.
Neuton tyres £94 per pair delivered.
Yes I can hear the doomsayers from here. However I have had
the car over 2 years now.It came with 2 new Goodyears on the front
and new tyres on the back whose name escapes me at the moment, but
they were awful.First to go were the back replaced with Neutons, which
were immeasurabley superior. Then changed the front to neutons, the difference is amazing, I wouldn't say they have more or less grip, but
having previously changed the steering idle arm, wishbones full geometry
setup and still not stopping the wandering tendancies of the car, with these new tyres on it tracks brilliantly even on the worst roads I drive on.They also make a big difference when towing, much more stable.
No idea how long they last but at this price I,m very happy.

Glyn :)

Not a tyre I like.  Last set I had were on a car when I bought it, but never mind, I soone wore them bald so I could put something decent on...

you know me and my SP9000s ;D.  Wondering if my camber isn't spot on, as some of those straight line stops at Newent showed I could break grip if I tried heard enough.

ABS Fuse reinserted now, testing complete ::)

IME Dunlops seem to give the best accuracy. But are a bit noisy.

Conti compromise this a fraction to be quieter....

.... but are a trillion times better than falken 912s which are appalling on my car as TB has witnessed. Only thing i will say re 912s is they are very quiet.

Makes me wonder that noise and accuracy are a bit of a trade off. Cant have both as one compromises the other. So i would say, from the above, conti seem to give best balance, but depends what you want from your boots.(if you want boots full of jelly, fit 912s....yuk)
