VENTILATION STOPS 2.5 CD
« on: 01 September 2009, 19:42:08 »

WHEN GOING UPHILL WITH THE ENGINE UNDER LOAD THE AIR STOPS COMING OUT OF THE VENTS. IT IS EASY TO RESRTART....JUST LIFT OFF THE ACCELERATOR FOR A MOMENT. YOU CAN HEAR A WHISTLE WHEN THE AIR STOPS.
A VACUUM PROBLEM OF SOME SORT. ANY IDEAS?

You are on the right lines, sounds like you have vac problems.

Check that vac system correctly wired (Marks DTM Calib posted a 'map' of vac connections in Maintenence Guides section :y)

Its possible that the one way valve in the vac tank on the pollen filter housing is goosed......you can fit one for an aquarium in series to sort.

Do check for chafed vac pipes though
