had to  change the battery on my 2003 2.6 v6 cd miggy, now wen i connect the new battery the alarm sounds n the remote wont cancell it, help gettin stressed

bet u tuck your time puting in the bat's you only have 3mins to put new3 1z n after that you need the key to be setup gain as its lost its code. :(

My 2001 had the battery off for a while, had a couple of probs when re-connected but easy enough to sort.

Re-connect the battery (alarm may sound), open drivers door and switch ignition to #2 (red lights but don't start). leave it like that for a couple of minutes until the orange light (can't remember which of the two though) stops flashing. It should be ok and start then.
