Golden is right you must hold AS button instead of 0, everything else in the procedure should be the same

Don't forget to press one more than the code number...
e.g.: code=0123
press button1 once (one more than 0)
press button2 twice (one more than 1)
press button3 three times (one morethan 2)
press button4 four times (one more than 3)

Hope thats clear? :-?

The radio and key card with radio code simply has xxxx does this mean it doesn't need a code ?

Also holding AS does nothing.

The radio works OK and you can change station but you can't go back to radio if you have played the CD player.

Last point the steering wheel controls don't work

Thanks

Does it say safe on the mfd if not then it isn't code locked and If you've just bought the car check the wiring at the back of the radio for altered wiring.

Yes it does say safe mode and bleeps if I try to switch from cd back to radio.

I can stay on radio and change stations from start up.

But steering wheel controls don't work anymore.

I have had the car about a year and yes he battery did go flat.

Yes no problem hearing the radio or the CD player and can control volume direct from radio.

It's not the end of the world and thanks for trying to help

IS the radio and NCDC201x - that would explain the code.

Also, if one of those radios, was it working? When did it stop (did you replace anything?).

It's the NCDC 2013 which has worked perfect even from the steering wheel.

Replaced nothing just the battery went too flat for it to start, I put the jump leads on it and that's when the safe mode message and bleep started
