EXHAUST QUESTION
« on: 15 October 2009, 03:07:18 »

My MV6 still has the standard exhaust. Can I divide the exhaust to install a dual exhaust pipe at the end? What would be the effect?

Before you even start to worry about power loss etc., you have the logistical problem of the fuel tank being in the way. You'd have to fit a short length in where the backbox normally starts and route it around the back of the fuel tank with the appropriate heatshields. Then make the turn to head out of the back. Probably easier with a straight through pipe and do away with the backbox all together.
