Retro fitting of cruise control.
« on: 16 October 2009, 12:22:00 »

Hi, I've just got a new omega which is a 1999 2.6 cd manual estate. My old one had cruise control which I miss and having read some posts about getting the stork and haveing the ecu adjusted to make it work I wonder if I could do that on mine?

thanks in anticipation   :-*

exactly  :y

stalk, chat with tech2, jobs done.

unlikely, but possible you will need a clutch switch & brake switch, but think the facelifts have them by default

What Jimbob says is correct, IF its really a 2.6, are you sure its not a 2.5?

2.6 was not released until 2001

I had an X reg 2000 plate 2.6 mig.

As above really. Might not even need the Tech 2 session.

very different answer then

you need stalk
brake & clutch swicthes
cruise motor and cable

install that lot and away you go, no tech2 needed

check the maint guides in my sig, we have retrofit cruise guides.
you need the prefacelift one  :y
