that part number appears to fit a lot of cars according to epc  including some 2.2 engines...

but as far as I can see, you want part 55558349

Yes I saw that part number in Tunnies' post but thought this is the same one.
Judging from the looks it should be the same.
i think my engine code is Y22XE but not 100% sure

I guess they can be nice people to deal with Selsey.
But everyone recomends genuine gasket and looks like they don't have them, only replacements

i guess on some parts for 2.2 especially genuine is a must.
I had two cam covers replaced in last couple of months and both of them seem not to be ok.
also had a new cam sensor fitted (aftermarket one) and the  car would drive normally any more. Put the old original back in which is actually knackered and the car works fine 99% of the time.
Only ocassionally have to restart it when turned on while it is hot cause EML light comes on

There are Opel dealers near me but trust me they are the real stealers!!!
When I wanted genuine cam sensor they wanted around 130 pounds for it!
So I really don't want to pay them twice or sometimes three times more than I can get from ebay
