Alarm Fault
« on: 18 December 2009, 13:12:11 »

Hi

Can anyone give me a clue on this fault?
I have an Omega 2002  2.6CDI. Sometimes when I get in and start the engine the alarm goes off even though the car starts and goes OK. The only way to stop it is to get out, lock and unlock the car.

Any Ideas

My 1st guess would be the power sounder going off.
you can unplug it with no ill effects to try....its under the wiper scuttle on the drivers side.
