Headlamp adjusters (levers)
« on: 03 January 2010, 11:29:22 »

Hello everyone, the levers inside the lamp unit,,does anybody know the correct position for them, up or down.
I,m sure that I read a question about this last week so I checked mine,1 up+1 down,no wonder my lights are useless.
                    Thanks for any info
                         Regards Alfie.

If you mean the metal arms then they should both be up, and if they are projector headlights (non xenon) then pick up a pair of nightbreakers off eGay :y

..............of course the lever position assumes that the adjusters inside the headlamps have not broken -in which case buy new headlamps

Left light .... lever up
Right light ..... lever down  :y

And as it suggests, you should see an upsweep of the beam pattern if you park ifront of a garge door/wall ie
\____   \____ if you have the levers wrong for RHD ie set up for continental Europe, you should see ____  ____  :y
