« on: 18 January 2010, 09:41:16 »

recently noticed driving on our local bumpy roads i get a suspension noise a knock i suppose . Driving on perfect roads nothing (not many of those in Lincs)  shockers seems ok no springs broke any ideas rolol bar bush maybe ??

i have developed a slight oil leak any obvious problems with these engines cant see anywhere obbvious where it could be from .  Start and let it run for 25 mins no leak rocker gasket ok   any ideas

Posted same question recently as mine doing the same knocking-it appears that it is not possible to tell springs are broken until removing and a broken spring is a likely issue  OOFer welung666 looking at mine next weekend... :y

Try to listen exactly the region the noise is coming from. Check the obvious, link rods, in my case it turned out to be the shock absorber mount.
