First thing this morning in Kent temp was -2.5 but has now WARMED UP and it is basking in in 0.5,pond and water butt both frozen,but wont be going skating.

-5.5 @ 6.15am this morning in Swindon, went to Heathrow, -2 there, but -5.5 by the time I got back to Swindon.

Washers froze on M4, melted at Heathrow, and froze again on the way back.

That was interesting trying to drive with a white (from Salt) smeary windscreen.  

Just filled washer bottle up with -8C ready mixed screenwash.

Well this morning my car showed -5 but the lowest I have seen was -12 degrees C   (took a pic of that one!) in Aviemore a couple of years ago.

Coldest I have ever had was in Sweden about half way up.  -28 C

Car (Saab 9000) sat outside youthhostel overnight.   I thought - Oh shit is it going to start in the morning..  No worries - first turn it fired up.  Unlike the German Golf parked next to me - totally hosed battery.
