Are you sure that this isn't already-leaked fuel sitting in the recess?

very sure sethsmate, i cleaned it right down & it was bone dry, i then started it up & after a minute or so it starts seaping out, ive tried tightening the fuel nut but it seems to be coming from lower down. im pretty sure its from where the injector screws in :'(

Can't remember what size, I think it's 27mm (Sethsmate will know for sure, he also has the torque settings).
I had to bevel the edge of my socket on a bench grinder. Even though it was a thin walled socket, it would not quite get far enough into the recess.

if the injector was loose you would see bubbles around the threads you won't see unburnt fuel.
ive got a sneaky feeling it the injector body thats leaking to tighten this the injectors have to be removed on the above link ignore the cleaning side.
on the photo that shows the spliting of the injector you tighted the only thing you will need is the 27mm socket and long screwdriver to unplug number 4.
dont worry its easy good luck :y

thanks sethsmate, anyhow i bought the 27mm socket & removed the injector, tightened it all up & replaced it, had a hell of a time plugging the wiring plug back in, as a result one of the wires snapped >:(, but for the time being i twisted it together just to test,,,,,the result is its still leaking, looks like its coming from where the wires go into it, im thoroughly poxed off with it now as it dont look like its going to be fixable, anybody got a spare no4 injector?? :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

I've got a complete tractor in 'For Sale' section. (Posted in December) with new No.4 injector.

A new 'un'll set you back upwards of 200 bucks if your existing one is shot.
