MPG from LPG
« on: 22 February 2010, 14:53:21 »

What sort of MPG are the 2.5v6 LPG owners getting? Do you do what I do and double what the MID says, accounting for the half price? I am getting around 38mpg using proper calculation, which is about the same as doubling MID value  :D

The MID quotes 19-20 so the 38 is double that. I get about 220 miles from 60 litres=13.5 gallons

Is that local running?

Combined, I'd get near on 300 per tank from that car :y

Mostly motorway with some local. I think my right foot is a little heavier than yours James ;) I do tend to cruise at 90 with the occasional blast. I think that will account for the 70 odd miles extra that you got  :P

MPG is a poor comparison... You should work on pence per mile :y :y
