Normally £10.xx +VAT.  Oh, and free £5 argos voucher from my local one.

Why is my dealer not this good. Went on Tuesday for oil and antifreeze to finish off my head gasket job.

Took half an hour for them to decide that they would accept tradeclub card from ABS (despite me using it several times before there) then I had to haggle to get £10.89 + Vat for the oil as they said I only qualify for 10% discount.

All in all I wasted an hour there just for 5 litres of oil and 5 litres of antifreeze >:( >:(

Haven't bought any lately, this is for SWTSMBO's Jazz. It may well be the standard offer, just the way it was presented to me as a  "Special Offer"! :y

Yep. Same for me. If I can talk them into accepting the card and giving me TC prices I'm happy let alone any freebies. Often I get home and read the invoice and find they've stiffed me.

They always have to get the manager.
They always put it on some company's account because they haven't "got AutoBahnStormers on the system yet".
There's always trouble if I've had to back order something because it won't be in my name (see 2 above).  >:(

Does anyone know a VX dealer in Surrey / Hampshire who aren't this much of a PITA to ABS members?

It had took a phone call from Dave W to eventually get ABS on my local dealer's system.  :y

My local dealer give you trade club price if your a taxi driver . The guy in parts knows me now so just does it automatic everytime i use them
