Water Loss

I am having a problem with slight water loss I've tried K seal which was fine for a short while but the problem has returned is it the head gasket and if so what is a realistic garage price

Where's it leaking from?

Usual culprit on V6s is the HBV at rear of plenum.

I cant see any leaks but I have to top up about a pint everyday, whats the HBV you mensioned

Heater Bypass Valve - sits behind plenum drivers side - you can just get your hand down to feel for wetness - there are 3 water hoses connected plus a vacuum pipe on top.  Looks like Starship Enterprise!!

Hi dbug you are right I can see the staining from the K seal.
Have you any idea how much Vauxhall charge for replacement Valve

On TC card I paid just over £30 for genuine Vx one recently.  Do NOT buy the cheapos off ebay - they will leak.
