Hi Guys

I had this problem a few months ago, I removed the solenoid/motor I didnt have a replacement so put it all back together and it was worse than previously.
I read on the forum somewhere a guy had soaked it with WD40 and worked it manually for a while and it was fine.
So I took off the door panel again but this time left the solenoid/motor in situ and sprayed it with WD40 + worked it using the manual door lock lever/button lots of times, hey presto saved me 74 squids for a new one. Its still fine 2 months later.
There is a good guide to removing the door panel is on the forum.

Done this job before, its not too hard at all, just make sure you've got every screw out, especially the one behind the door handle rubber and the door lever plastic, or you'll do your own head right in!

Might be in need of one myself shortly, anyone else got a spare one?
