omega 3.0 elite facelift autobox probs??
« on: 02 June 2010, 19:21:19 »

I've recently got a 3.0 facelift elite estate with autobox problems, changed the oil today with dextro3 and mate who changed it drove it and said it was fine after, I picked it up and still slipping and won't change till near 4k roughly, I hit the accelerator and no joy it just looses power and revs just drop to idle!

Any ideas?

thats as maybe but he only needed to drop the large sump to do the filter & atf change, the washer if busted ends up in the small sump nearer the front, but either way the box will have to come out so youd be just as well to change it anyway, unless your mechanic knows how to fit a thrust washer if its gone.
