What is a MAF and what does it do? Do I have one on my 2002 2.6 V6

Mass Airflow Sensor, measures the ait entering the engine, from just downstream of your airbox, Yes, you do have one.

hi,maf sensor on my 2.2 just been replaced ran rough as before iratic idle misfiring los of power,didnt show up as faulty on any diagnostics machines had two plug ins ,took a chance and replaced it at £114,but it runs as sweet as now,if you need one dont go for cheap one get gm one . :y

Be wary replacing a MAF on a hunch/whim. Yes, they do fail, but only change components once proved faulty.
