ignition problem Please!!!!Please!!!! HELP!!!

turned key as usual waited for orange lights to go out went to turn over and nothing as in no engine turn over nothing and key felt odd in the barrel no feel something defenitley dodge about the barrel   any one please    :'(   also now the red ignition lights wont go out and key is out of barrel although steering lock still works

looks like you need to take the ignition socket off think it may of snaped,.

I have taken off all that plastic shroud except for the bit hangin from the wheel height adjustment lever  and may as well be lookin up a camels trunk                  >:( :'( :o :D

you will need to remove the steering covers and locate the rear of the ignition put key in and knock the little pin out of the lock, should be able to take it off then, and turn te ignition off then with screw driver.

IM GONA go out now and try to suss it   BA CK IN A SEC what bad timing were i the middle of moving house  aghhhhhhhhhhhhh    back soon :y

with key in position '1', push a long nail or allen key(or small screwdriver) into the barrel release hole and remove the lock barrel.
now remove the switch fixing screw and the connector should move towards you slightly and come away. Do not simply try levering the switch off with the barrel still in place. dont pull away.pull towards you.

the barrell release hole is offset im havin trouble getin into it but no joy
 no pin coming out what next im about to call a lock smith :-[

have you got any angle drivers that you could use or borrow from some one,

can you get to it from behind with the end off the allankey bent end or bend somting to get to it made out of metal. :question

in after getin nit out yipppee oh man so exciting my adrenalin is flowin here im suppose to be outtahere on monday morning anyway whats next i have key and barrel in my hand
just need to remove the plug with the wires on should be easy from here, but pull toward you not out, then should be able to start with screw driver when got the plug off put the barrel back in to stop the lock engaging when get time change the wire plug should get you fixed for the day so yu can move :y dont put wire plug back on, and leve the key in alltime till fixed. :y
