water leak

last night i put on about the pipes leaking in behind my engine. tonight i have taken off the plem and i can now see more. there is 2 pipoes ath the back going in to somthing plastic which im not sure its called? can someone please help and tell me what it is? thanx you

sounds like the old HBV Heater Bypass Valve

2 pipes one side
1 the other
vac pipe on top.

Does this thing the two pipes are going into look like the "Starship Enterprise"?

Better still is it this that the arrow is pointing at?

heater bypass valve, as said above and in your other thread.

Dealer only part, pattern are even more unreliable.
35 odd quid from vx. Get your mole grips out, scuttle and bracket off for a battle.

ye that is the part :) and see the bottom pipe? it is compleatly white :(

thats the plenium chamber and the scuttle off what else do you think i should  take off? :)

Depends on how big your hands are ;D

The car will bite you and so get some plasters at the ready....

As much room as you can really so whatever is best for you.

I found to take off the plenum and scuttle fine :y I have heard of people removing the inlet manifold too.... it is all personal preference :y

haha ye i have already cut myself by hey ho its all in good fun. ye i was thinking about taken off the wipers but i should manage :) cheers dudes i will keep you informed of how i get on :)
