I know its been asked shit loads of times,but has anyone ever removed the leather covering on one of the front seats,as i need to try and repair the heater pad,and was it a barstool to do.

OMG.............soooooo much of a pain. Easier to change a dispack with the scuttle left on................believe me.

i am interested in this too because my heated driver seat isn't working either

actually - removing the cover is quite easy, you have to take the seat out and dismember it, but other than that, it's all quite straightforward.

BUT (there had to be a but), the heating element is stiched into the leather and not able to be separated from it. So, if you're wanting to remove the leather / heater assembly to move to another seat or to change the foam or correct the seat base, then yes it's simple, but if you're going to attempt to fix the element, then I'm afraid it's not possible.
