Ok, my 3.0 MV6 Auto (99) has still not got over its heating issue. If anything it is getting worse.
At first I always had a small water leak down the passenger side front. Thought this was due to the hose from thermostat to rad as this looked a bit perished. Replaced this when I replaced stat due to the engine running hot on hot days (around 100 mark). Was ok for a day or two then it started leaking much worse

Stripped hoses and flushed rad at weekend and water was running freely through the rad, so I thought no blockage there. Just to make it clear I ran water through all pipes and also into engine just to make sure there wasnt a blockage there and everything appeared ok. Rebuild and fans came on at just over 75 when climate was swithced off and then 78 when climate on. This was ok for a day and leak was much better, however after a day there she is back to creeping towards the 100 mark again and when I popped the bonnet on arrival home after 7 miles there is water all around the top hose, radiator and auxillary pump.
Anyone got any idead what could be causing this, if the rad was flowing free why would it not when engine running. Also why would water escape from the top hose??
