Yes, urgently recheck your cam belt / crankshaft settings before you run the engine any further!!! :o :o :o

Did you use a locking kit?? :-/ :-/

hmmm .... deffo check belt again - sounds like a tooth out? - i had this before (on my van); rechecked; was a tooth out (must have slipped on fitting) - reset, - OK  :y :y

Also check for trapped wires in the cable duct across the front of the engine. A favourite is the knock sensor cable.

O rings on plenum. Check they are all still there!
