Power steering probs

Power steering fine when put foot on accelerator but steering stiff when idle any ideas ::)

Generally perceived to be a worn pump, a 'new' pump cure mine. I'd try a few changes of oil though first before you write it off ...... Dex II not III  ;)

Changed my pump couple of weeks ago, used the guide on here and it was a doddle.   :y

may be compatable with the pump.....but causes leaks in the pipes  :y

Thank your lucky stars we don't use Dexron IV or VI (there is no Dexron V) , just think of the forward/backward compatibilty issues there!
