Silly Seats :-(

my lovely omega elite has developed a problem just wondered if anyone could help, basically my seat wont move (drivers electric) i press the buttons on the seat and there is a clicking noise but no movement? i only wanted to move it a little but nothing, its a pain.... know you lovely people will have an idea, ive checked the fuse it had blown but ive changed it (yes i did change it on my own) but still no movement  :-/

a good bet is to check the seat runners for coins jamming it.

I beleive there is a manual winding method too for if it gets stuck.

Thats for all omega up down seats, theres another one for front to back... Elite's did come with a special 'windy tool' for the job, but are like hen's teeth I beleive.

thankyou so much couldnt drive the miggy in my new boots without moving the seat just a fraction was doing my nut in.... thankyou!!!!! :y

No worries, gets your seat moved even if there is a power / motor problem.

Thats for all omega up down seats, theres another one for front to back... Elite's did come with a special 'windy tool' for the job, but are like hen's teeth I beleive.

... in which case a hen's tooth is just like a length of 5mm diameter steel rod with one end filed down to a 4mm square section and a crank formed on the other end.  The square section is about 15mm long.  The crank is about 125mm from the business end and has a throw of 25mm. 

Should be easy enough to knock one up if you don’t have one.   :y
