French Connection
« on: 27 November 2010, 14:06:23 »

Just got back from four days in France, (that tunnel is great) 700 trouble free miles - well nearly. My remote key unlocking failed, (since OK with new battery), fortunately, I had taken my spare key, so not a problem, but I am frequently out with only one key, and my question is, how do you cancel the alarm after opening the car with the key blade?

Eurotunnel is good but a great terrorist target.

I had a similar thing with mine recently. I found the alarm stopped when you got the key in the ignition and started it up. Most embarrassing.

You just need to turn the ignition on.

You can also lock the car with out the alarm setting (saves annoying the neighbours) by reaching through an open rear door and pushing the 'plunger' on the drivers door. Be aware though, the dead locks won't be on...

I thought that deadlock and alarm won´t go on if key lock button is pressed just once. ?
