after the car has being sat over night the inside the windscreen seems wet and takes me ages to clear in the morning.

ive checked the car over and nothing wet on the inside

any ideas?

Me too, it has got worse recently. Checked drains under scuttle, just weather I suppose.

must be.. my drains also clear. I also have a '89 escort ready to meet the 'maker' which has never had a wet floor , but opened it for the first time in 2 weeks yesterday and it was soaking.

Turn Eco mode off. Run cc on auto....  And does the ac work?

mine was like this when I first got it as it had been stood for a few months,as Chris says if the aircon is working use it as it will dry the car out

but for ac to work it should be over +5 degrees celsius or else the compressor won't start

ill give the ac a go before i leave work. well the sun is on it at the mo so im sure it will work a treat.

the car was stud since middle of dec 10. becuase there was coffee on the oil cap witch seems to be going now so figured was condensation.

need to get it good and hot to drive off the condensation and generally dry-out the interior. Try leaving it running with everything turned to "hot" for an hour or two.

then clean the inside of the windscreen properly.

my elite does the same thing mate i reckon just the way they r if carpets r dry then dont worry too much

had the same proplem with my xtrail i just ran it all the time with ac on and seemed to sort it (Y)

Press the air re-circ button when u first start then turn it off after ten seconds ago, and give the window a clean with rain-ex

check if all your carpets are dry, clear out the scuttle drains, give the inside of the screen a clean with a good glass cleaner

i've never ever had a problem with the inside of any of my car windscreens holding water, even when the scuttles were blocked on my first omega and the carpets were wet, the glass had been properly cleaned previously and cleared very well with the heating on, i NEVER ever wiped them clean when they were misty, this makes them worse!
