Air con help needed
« on: 01 March 2011, 06:02:13 »

I've noticed that the air con has stopped blowing. Pressing the 'big' fan (this is a p/f climate control dash) no longer results in any increase in air blowing through.

Temperature is fine - gets hot and cold - just no air blowing through.

Any headers to threads up already and/or pointers to likely reasons much appreciated. Nothing specific in the maintainance guides (that I can see - please let me know if I've missed it) so pointers to previous threads would seem the most likely place I guess.

Just been to check the fuse - took it out-  had a gander. Absolutely fine. :-?

Turned the engine on and let it run - turned the a/c on and bingo- lots of noise. Must have been the fuse not being in properly (I thought happily). :)

However, in putting my hand up against the blowers it's still not blowing anything through - it just sounds like it is now. :(

Where next? under bonnet or check for blockages from the dash side? Or both? :-[
any ideas send 'em in this directions, please!
