Best diet
« on: 22 January 2008, 22:02:55 »

Any of you chaps done any dieting..I have tried the atkins in the past.made me ill.

I have also tried a lipo diet..that was got from the pharmacy, i registered on a 2 week trial with them..that was only drinking what tasted like milk shakes..i lost lots of weight on that but found i suffered lots of bad headaches.

Anyone recommend anything...Problem with me as i play Rugby, so i need to keep up the strength, i have asked our fitness trainer as he calls himself but nothing really came of it.

I would say eat a good balanced diet, and lots of exercise should do the trick :)

Just cracked open a Christmas present, actually. Fortnum and Mason's Christmas mincemeat shortbread biscuits. 8-)

Probably not what you wanted to hear but they're very nice. :y

16 stone and counting...

::)Same old answer really. "Fad" diets are a rip off. Excercise, ie cycling, walking, lay off the p**s lay off the carbs, although if you play rugger as my Dad did you need them for strength. At the end of the day burn off more than you put in, not easy if you enjoy your grub.
A balanced diet + even gentle exercise is the way to go, you can still indulge yourself here & there. :y
