4 Pot Cambelt DVD
« on: 26 April 2011, 13:38:06 »

Im looking at doing my cambelt myself in the future and was wandering if there any chance of the dvd coming back in the shop , or , if its not illegal or against the forum rules would someone have or make me a copy of it  ::).
Obviously i would cover any costs  :y

Never attempted anything like this so would like the back up of having the dvd  :y

Thanks

I've done a cam belt on a twin cam 1.6 16v Astra which I believe is very similar to your 4 pot car. The cam locking tool was about £5 from a local motorfactor. The job itself was a piece of cake.  :y :y :y

Give TB a PM Proz & ask him nicely if he would make one available in the Shop. The 4 pot is as Andy says dead easy & all you need is the Haynes Manual & a cam locking tool like this one:

 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TWIN-CAM-LOCKING-TOOL-GM-VAUXHALL-ECOTECH-ENGINE-/290530040195?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item43a4f09983

I'm only at the end of the PM button when/if you need any advice too mate  :y

Very straight forward done mine without any problem with the DVD and had never done anything like that before. Mind and replace water pump at the same time.

Please dont distribute copies of the OOF DVD's, its the sales of those that help make this place viable.

PM TheBoy if the shop is out of stock  :y

I had a feeling this would be raised ... I,ve been on here for 3 years now and I've never seen it in stock although i dont look everyday to be honest  ;)

Would gladly pay for one ( I have already bought the T-shirt and OOF stickers to support the site ) but i cant pay for one if there's none available  :-/
